And before you even ask, yes, the primary reason I wrote this post was so I could put more pictures of Wee Cee up on the blog. SO SUE ME.
Step One: Take a great first picture and then remember to use the camera correctly.
Sometimes using the flash is kind of a good idea. Baby will punish you for the rest of the shoot for this little oversight.
Step Two: Put Baby in a cute location.
Sofas aren’t cute enough.
Step Three: Give Baby a prop to distract her.
Pro tip #1: Maybe use a prop that baby cannot use to block her entire face.
Step Four: Take a break.
Pro Tip #2: Make sure you are willing to wake up the baby by taking sleeping pictures.
Because this.
Step Five: Return to the sofa because you are stubborn.
Consider teaching your 10 month old how to sit “like a lady.” Realize fruitlessness.
Step Six: Give Baby the TV remote control and tell her it’s her camera.
Step Seven: Give up. Take one last picture. Realize you had been trying too hard.

Little Cee!! Can I just tell you that Curious George is one of my favorites and now to know that Wee Cee sleeps on these sheets, well, it’s all too great! Love this post!
I LOVE those sheets. My MIL got them for her at Pottery Barn and they are the absolute softest and cutest. I’m still waiting for her to make the connection that that cartoon she watches after lunch each day and her sheets have something in common.

She is beyond obsessed with the camera. She likes to look at the pictures of herself that are saved on it because it’s finally occurred to her that they are of her. She’s a big fan of herself.

Cute! I love the sleeping picture. :-) I was very tempted to take a sleeping picture of Carter last night, as he slept in their mini circus tent located in their book nook. I was not willing, however, to wake the bear.
You really, really have to be good and sure you want to risk taking the sleeping pictures!
I wish I had a crib to sleep in. I have one memory from my crib and it involves trying to get out. Why would I ever want to leave?
That’s a really good question. Cribs are pretty much the awesomest things ever invented. I would never leave mine if I had one.

Babies always take cute pictures, even when they’re not doing what they’re supposed to. WeeCee is certainly no exception to this! She’s adorbs. Now, if I posted pictures of myself doing all the same things it would be decidedly uncute. Such a double standard for us old broads.
And by “us” I mean me. Specifically.
I always get oddly weirded out by those pictures that people take of themselves where they duplicate a picture of themselves from when they were kids, only when they’re adults. Does that make any sense? It’s a cool concept, but they always read “porn” to me because it’s inevitably a picture of themselves wearing only a diaper and eating candy that gets reproduced. So very uncute. Ew ew ew.
My cats do the very same thing to me…only your little girl is way cuter!

WeeCee is so adorable. If I tried to move like her, I’d probably need surgery considering that I wake every morning feeling as stiff as a frozen hunk of ham.
She is definitely nimble. Sometimes it makes my back hurt just seeing her fall on her bottom. I think she’s made of Silly Putty.

TOTALLY AGREED! I am in love with her little skirt. But its tag is lying because it says it’s size 18 months. Erm, last I checked she’s not even a year old o_0
Oh my goodness is she ever cute, despite that her pose would never fly with the Dowager Countess. And I love her little sweater and skirt and those sweet little rosy baby cheeks. If my ovaries now start mass producing eggs and I get knocked up, I’m so going to blame you.
