What the What?!

I changed my URL! So as not to upset the feisty internet gods too much, the change is kinda small. We are still at WordPress, as we love WordPress.

I am a decent enough writer, but I am by no means technologically-savvy, so the jury’s still out on whether all my dear followers moved with me. If you’re reading this, then you made it. Hurrah!

Anyway, please update your bookmarks accordingly. Does anyone still use bookmarks? Hmmm.

  1. Hi Emily, I got an alert in my email ’cause I’m one of your followers. This is the first one I’ve received in quite awhile though. I don’t get it. I don’t always receive alerts from the blogs I follow if though I’ve got it set up to “alert” me. Who knows.

    1. Thanks, Brigette. It is indeed a mystery. I randomly get emails too, but they are by no means consistent. I guess I’m more concerned that the “new” blog (even though it’s not really new) will not appear in my followers’ feeds. We’ll see. I’m just going to have to trust that the people who really follow my blog will find me. I’ve done everything I can to make sure that this happens.

I got an alert, too. If I hadn’t, it would have taken me days or weeks to figure it out. It’s all Greek to me. Like Brigitte, I sometimes get alerts and sometimes I don’t. I have to check in with those I follow on my own – wordpress can have some unreliable features.

    1. It can indeed have some unreliable features. I’m glad you found me, though! :D

  3. Lucky you! My followers did not follow me when I did an update. So far only seven of my 41 have made it over. Sigh!

    1. I’ve been a little out of the loop since I went out of town, so it was totally over my head that you moved. I’m glad you told me though! :) I subscribed!

    I’m one of the Grand-mothers. Can’t get in. :(
Not in to the tweet stuff.

    1. This isn’t Twitter, Mom :) If you got an email saying I updated the blog then you’re good.

  6. Oooh, changing domain names. Now, you’ve done it! Seriously though, as I found when I moved off WordPress on to my own host, those who want to follow you will and those who don’t wont.

I also got your alert and am glad I did as I really enjoy reading your blog!

  8. Woohoo! We made it!

  9. Ah, there you are, you stopped updating in my “blogs I follow” but I’ve tracked you down. :)
